yakosands — YAKO — is a multimedia practice founded by Nadir Naji, operating at the intersection of sound, image, code and space. It is not a studio in the commercial sense, nor a solo artist alias in the traditional one: it is a platform. A name under which audiovisual installations, live AV performances, generative systems and custom tools are conceived, built and released as parts of a single, coherent body of research — and a space born to share work openly and to collaborate with people.yakosands（YAKO）は、Nadir Najiによって設立されたマルチメディア・プラクティスであり、音・映像・コード・空間の交差点で活動している。商業的な意味でのスタジオでも、従来の意味でのソロアーティスト名義でもない。それはひとつのプラットフォームである。オーディオビジュアル・インスタレーション、ライブAVパフォーマンス、ジェネラティブ・システム、カスタムツールが、単一の一貫した研究体系の一部として構想され、制作され、発表される名前——そして、作品をオープンに共有し、人々と協働するために生まれた場でもある。
